I have been reading articles that suggest you allow your toddler to start self- feeding with a spoon at round one year, so I thought that it would be fun to see how Grish would do at this. He actually did pretty good..he had a great time spooning the food onto the spoon, and I had a really great time cleaning up his MESS! HA! Here's a few pictures..

One year update
Well we knew we had a big boy, but man do we have a big boy! He weighs 26 lbs and he's 32 1/2 inches long, putting him in the 100 percentile for his height. I told ya we had a big boy! He's doing a lot too. He knows where his hair is, he knows his eyes, and his tummy, he is in love with his belly button and ours too! Don't let him catch you with your shirt up, he will make every effort to stick his little finger in your belly button! He was walking..actually he walked for a week solid and now, well not so much, he has decided I guess that's it's too much work so he had rather crawl. At least we know he can do when he wants to. He's play really well with his toys, he loves anything with wheels. He can say, ooh wee, he does this to the dogs right before he kisses them, he says Momma and daddy, hot hot, eyes, light, and no no. He can also whistle, I know it sounds crazy, but it's true, he's actually been doing this since he was around 6 months, but now he can do it on command. He's so funny. He loves to make us laugh. He has a great personality. We are still having a few issues at night with not sleeping, but for the most part he does really well. I guess it all depends on how hard he played that day. He loves to eat. He eats everything we eat, but his favorite is anything in pasta sauce. He absolutely love pasta! Wonder where he gets this from, this was the only craving I really had when I was pregnant with him, so maybe it absorbed into him some way! Anyways, he's a healthy toddler now and we don't have to go back to the doctor until he's 15 months.
